www.themanuelplay.com and Blues Canvas Concert Productions present Steve Strongman, Terry Danko, Driftwood and Shane Horvath at this, the Saturday event of the 1st annual East Down To The West Music Festival with silent auction to support the Richard G Manuel Music Award at Western University! 
Richard Manuel was the soulful vocalist and keyboardist with the iconic Canadian rock group The Band.  This event features juno winning and multi maple blues award winning guitarist Steve Strongman whose incendiary guitar licks and sweet song stylings have been impressing audiences far and wide.  He he has shared the stage with music greats Buddy Guy, B.B. King, the Rolling Stones' Chuck Leavell and many others.  Terry Danko has played with performed and recorded his own material as a solo artist and as a member of a number of groups, such as Tin Pan Alley, Bearfoot,  Marty Grebb and Friends and he has worked the biggest names in the music industry including Ronnie Hawkins, Eric Clapton, Stephen Stills, George Harrison, The Rolling Stones and his brother, the late Rick Danko of The Band. The band Driftwood (musicians with the Manuel play) and Shane Horvath will open the evening with songs by The Band.  For full festival details please call (519) 591-1997.
